Myopia Management
Comprehensive Examination
60 minutes
A full comprehensive eye examination that includes a detailed analysis of myopia, eye focusing skills, eye teaming skills, critical axial length and topography measurements, and anterior/posterior ocular health. A cycloplegic analysis (dilation) may also be performed. Dr. Bailey will discuss the treatment options that would best suit the individual's needs. This may include low-dose Atropine eye drops, multifocal soft contact lenses, or gently reshaping Corneal Refractive Therapy lenses. The goal of myopia care is to keep myopia from increasing to prevent future vision loss.
Please choose this option if you/your child has not had an annual comprehensive eye health exam in the last 12 months. This is a comprehensive eye examination with additional myopia testing and parent/patient education.
Please note: Dr. Bailey does not participate with any vision insurance plans - this practice is considered out-of-network. A detailed superbill will be provided to you if you choose to submit directly to your insurance for reimbursement.
Dr. Bailey does participate with traditional (non-HMO) Medicare Health Insurance Plans. Approval of benefits will be verified prior to appointment time. Please submit your Medicare Card Number and Date of Birth by phone or email upon scheduling your appointment.
